Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy Groups

5-week Introduction to KAP Group for LGBTQ2IA+ Adults

12-week KAP Group for Transgender, Nonbinary & Gender-Expansive Adults

Psychedelics offer new opportunities to explore the depths of our consciousness. They also offer opportunities to make progress in therapy, treat anxiety, substance use, and treatment resistant depression, explore the integration of your identities, and process grief and change.

Dr. Golden has trained with the California Institute of Integral Studies Certificate in Psychedelic Assisted Therapies and Research program, the MAPS MDMA Therapy Training Program, as well as the Ketamine Training Center. All other providers have trained with Journey Clinical and Fluence.

Sessions

All medicine sessions are in office. Prior to the sessions, clients will meet with a provider from Journey Clinical for a comprehensive Medical/Psychiatric Assessment and Screening. Journey Clinical will then provide the medicine for sessions, which the client is required to bring to session. Find more information about KAP here.

Please Note

• Ketamine therapies are not explicitly covered by insurance. We are open to discussing sliding scale for those who are unable to afford the listed costs.

• We provide billing paperwork to our patients that is a best effort under current insurance policies to recoup the costs of our care. Reimbursement will depend on your insurance policy.

• Plan to have a relaxing recovery day after your ketamine exploration, without significant obligations, work, or plans.

• You must arrange for someone to accompany you home after your treatment. They are welcome to stay in our waiting area for the duration of your treatment.

• Please refrain from driving and operating heavy machinery for 24 hours after your ketamine exploration.
